2008 Canadian Cyclocross Nationals : The Canadian Cyclocross National Championships were held in Edmonton this year so of course Jen and I had to go check it out!! We forgot to bring our cowbells but luckily, others didn't. Pretty good atmosphere for cycling in Edmonton!!

GP Jim Horner Cyclocross 2007 : UCI C2 level cyclocross race held on October 7, 2007, at Argyll Park in Edmonton (right beside the Velodrome). What is cyclocross? From the UCI website: "Cyclo-cross is a discipline run on 2.5 to 3.5 km circuits, including clearings, roads, country lanes and paths through forests. The riders have to do several laps of the circuit over a period of no more than an hour. To make their way along steep paths, muddy tracks and artificial obstacles, sometimes the riders even have to carry their bikes."

2006 Grand Prix of Edmonton : Mike and I did it all over again at the 2006 West Edmonton Mall Grand Prix of Edmonton Presented By The Brick (July 21-23). And yes - when you call the office, that's how they answered the phone. Let's see if they can come up with something longer next year.

Grey Cup Vancouver November 2005 : Jenny and I Partied In The Pacific at Grey Cup in Vancouver. We were planning on going long before the teams had been determined because Grey Cup is just a fun time (this was our third), but it was a big bonus that our Eskimos made it to the big dance. Even more of a bonus that we won too!!
